Georgia Love "the Bachelorette" wears JASONGRECH in OK Magazine

Georgia Love and her man- Inside our dream wedding

Have The Bachelorette’s Georgia Love and her ‘forever guy’ already secretly tied the knot? Once filming finished in August and the former news reporter knew for certain she’d found the man of her dreams, there was little reason to hold off on making their union official, especially with Georgia’s mum Belinda being ill.

Celebrating their big day with loved ones in an intimate ceremony is exactly how Georgia had always envisioned her dream wedding, and the fact that their relationship was not yet public meant it was ideal timing for the private pair.

‘The engagement wasn’t going to happen on TV- that and the wedding [are] part of our private life,’ the 28-year-old explains to OK!. One things for sure Georgia’s low-key affair could never be lacking in joy. ‘It is an absolute given for me that my wedding has to be one big party and a lot of fun and laughter,’ shares Georgia, who is on cloud nine with her new beau.

‘I’ve never felt like this before….I can’t see life without him.’ So, who’s the man? Mechanical plumber Lee Elliot, 35- whose family was all for him tying the knot- has previously revealed his ideal big day would be a ‘celebration’. And being smitten with Georgia, there’s no question he’s keen to say ‘I do’

"I whole heartedly (fell) head over heels in love with her,' he shares. He also admits he had a perfect wedding ceremony all planned out long ago. 'Last year I went to a friend's wedding in Tuscany (Italy) and it was beautiful... I don't like church weddings, so a destination wedding is for me.'

Daily Mail: Samantha Jade makes a statement in mauve frock and flashes a glimpse of skin as she arrives at Melbourne Cup 2016

As a singer and actress, she's become accustomed to switching up her style. And Samantha Jade opted to make a quirky statement as she arrived at Flemington Racecourse on Tuesday ahead of Melbourne Cup. The 29-year-old sported a vibrant knee-length frock by Jason Grech and flashed a glimpse of skin with an open neckline.

Samantha took to the media wall in a quirky frock by Melbourne-based label Jason Grech. The wide neckline drew attention to the starlet's delicate decolletage, while fringing on either side of her hips added an extra flair. Allowing the dress to do the talking, the Home And Away actress elongated her legs with a pair of nude strappy heels and opted for an ornate gold headpiece.

Styling her tresses sleek and straight, Samantha opted for a glamorous makeup palette of a flawless complexion, defined brows, subtle kohl-rimmed eyes and a nude lip. Proud of her curves, The Shake That hitmaker revealed to New Idea magazine earlier this year: 'I don't believe in starving yourself.' 'I'm obsessed with chocolate, I have chocolate every night - that's my little treat at the end of the day,' she said, adding: 'I also love hot chips with chicken salt - that's my guilty pleasure. Especially when I'm hungover!'

Samantha said in order to maintain her incredible figure she eats well overall and enjoys snacks, but says she can't live without carbs, admitting that she tried once before to give them up but after three days was 'back into the chips.'

Despite her love of hot chips and chocolate, Samantha also enjoys food of a healthier kind and says her favourite is Acai bowls with plenty of nuts and healthy granola. The pop star also gave an insight into what her daily plate consists of, revealing she usually eats eggs and avocado for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and a bowl of Pho for dinner. In regards to working out, the blonde beauty admitted that she doesn't go to the gym and relies on her busy schedule to maintain her physique, along with her regular performances.

TURF darling Michelle Payne’s history-making Melbourne Cup win of 2015 has been recognised as the nation’s most inspiring sporting performance of the past year when she won the prestigious “Don” award.

In a gathering of Australia’s sporting stars at Crown Palladium, Payne took out The Don, awarded by the Sport Australia Hall Of Fame, for her heroics aboard Prince of Penzance.

Payne said she felt overwhelmed after receiving her award in front of Australia’s sporting royalty.

“To be honest I could not even prepare a speech for tonight because I felt as though I didn’t deserve it among the company that I was in,’’ Payne said.

“I can’t believe it, I’m absolutely overwhelmed with winning the award and it’s just an honour to be here.

But Payne’s journey since has not been a smooth one, with a heavy race fall in Mildura in May providing the “toughest challenge” of her life.

“It’s definitely changed my views on life since winning the Melbourne Cup and then going through what I did with the fall,’’ Payne said.

“I’ve always been grateful for any luck I’ve had but I think now, more than ever, I am just happy to be healthy and doing what I love. Anything from now is a bonus.”

Payne said she didn’t have a confirmed ride for next month’s Melbourne Cup — “not at this stage but you never lose hope”.

At Thursday night’s awards gala, seven sporting greats were inducted as members into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame — Jack Newton (golf), Emma Carney (triathlon), Kristy Ellis (surf life saving), Sharelle McMahon (netball), Malcolm Page (sailing), Libby Trickett (swimming) and Harry Wells (rugby league). “Father” of the Australian Institute of Sport, Bob Ellicott, was also inducted.

Western Bulldogs premiership coach Luke Beveridge received the ‘Spirit of Sport’ award for his AFL Grand Final gesture when he presented injured captain Bob Murphy with his premiership medallion on stage after the match.

It was just the sixth time since its inception in 2005 that the ‘Spirit of Sport” award had been presented.

Channel Seven Brit Davis Brownlow

Brit Davis clearly got the memo this year, joining WAGS like Elise Swallow and Jessie Hultgren in adding a fabulous fairytale twist to their frocks. The babe channelled all our princess dreams in her Jason Grech gown on the red carpet at the 2016 Brownlow Medal Count at Crown in Melbourne earlier tonight. And chatting to Be, Brit - who was there to cheer on partner of Geelong captain Joel Selwood - revealed that she was determined to go big or go home.

"The inspiration was big," she told us.

"Let’s do something big and let’s do something bold, and I think we’ve nailed it.

"It’s taken forever because we kept changing their minds. It’s just worked out so well. I’m pretty excited... he’s happy, I’m happy."

The New Daily: Brit Davis in JASONGRECH at Brownlow

Princess dresses, the colour red, jumpsuits and women wearing traditionally male formal suits were the most talked about trends on the 2016 Brownlow Medal red carpet, while the dress of a former winner’s partner divided opinion.

The night was dominated by people fawning over the outfit choices of Nadia Bartel, Alex Pendlebury, Jesinta Campbell and Jordan Ablett.

Ablett’s dress in particular caused a large amount of conjecture, along with her futuristic-looking boots.

But it soon emerged that Brit Davis, partner of Geelong skipper Joel Selwood, had won over most of the public and fashionista approval on the night.

And just because serial red carpet show-stopper Bec Judd sat the night out (she is heavily pregnant), doesn’t mean it wasn’t an evening to remember.

Here are our highlights:

Daily Mail: Brit Davis pretty in pink wearing JASONGRECH

Brit Davis cuts a fairytale figure in a pale pink princess gown as she hits the red carpet for the 2016 Brownlow Medal Count.

She is known for her elegant style choices. And Monday night's Brownlow Medal Count in Melbourne was no different, as Brit Davis stepped on to the red carpet in a stunning pale pink gown. The top half of the gown showed off the Grand Prix ambassador's bronzed skin with cutout detail on her torso and multiple straps on one side of her body. The bandage-look top also featured a halter neck, which displayed the 24-year-old's delicate décolletage. The gown remained skin tight down to the model's hips, before bursting out in layers of dusty pink tulle.

As the 24-year-old turned to the slide to give cameras a better view of her stunning gown, she revealed the fitted half of the dress extended down to her derriere. While the front tulle appeared to be partially see-through, the primary-teaching graduate's dress featured a slip to protect her modesty. The back half of Brit's stunning dress flared into a tulle train which extended far back from her body. She added to the gown's princess feel by pulling her golden locks to the slide and allowing them to fall in perfect curls past her shoulder.

BRIT Davis isn’t afraid to be bold.

The partner of Geelong captain Joel Selwood is ready to make a daring entrance on the red carpet at Monday night’s Brownlow Medal.

“It’s going to be a big change from last year and it’s full on,’’ she said.

“There’s a bit of flesh. I’m not afraid of flesh. It’s still really girlie and elegant and sexy. I haven’t run anything by (Joel) as it’s been all about the football. He’ll just tell me, ‘you look beautiful’.”

Davis, who went to her first Brownlow last year, is being styled by Lana Wilkinson with a gown by Jason Grech.

“I know what I’m in for and I’m bracing for it,’’ she said.

“It’s a fun night and I enjoyed it. I’m excited to do something different.”
